Land Acknowledgement
We respectfully acknowledge that The Off-Grid Answer is located on the traditional territory of the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation.
This land has been cared for, travelled, and lived on by Indigenous peoples for countless generations, since the beginning.
As settlers on this peaceful place in the woods, we are grateful to live and gather here. We recognize that the forests, lakes, and trails are part of a much longer story. As one that deserves respect, reflection, and continued learning.
At The Off-Grid Answer, we believe our connection to land also means connection to history, community, and responsibility. We endeavor to build lasting, connected relationships as we share this space, while acknowledging the enduring presence, culture, and contributions of the Pikwakanagan people.
🌲 Our Stories...
Curious about what life feels like when you swap screens for sunsets?
This isn’t a polished lifestyle blog.
It’s real life out here—muddy boots, quiet mornings, arm loads of firewood, things that don’t go as planned, and moments that make it all worth it.
The Off-Grid Answer is about space: to breathe, to connect, to belong.
And this blog is where we share it.
The good, the messy, and everything in between.
